What is the Nikon Coolpix S9300?
Nikon has announced the Nikon Coolpix S9300 – the successor to the S9100 – as part of its latest models in the high-zoom compact range. It’s designed as an all-in-one camera for those that want something simple and easy to use. To see it in action, watch our video below.
What are the key features of the Nikon Coolpix S9300?
With an 18x optical zoom, you can get close to the action with this compact, relatively lightweight package. The lens starts at a wide angle of 25mm and extends to 450mm. It has a pop-up flash a selection of scene modes and can shoot full HD video at 1080p as well as including some extras such as GPS and the ability to capture 3D stills.
When can I buy the Nikon Coolpix S9300?
The S9300 is due to be available in a range of colours from mid-March for approximately £300. A cheaper alternative will be the Coolpix S6300. It’s got only a 10x optical zoom that starts at 25mm wide, but shoots video at 1080p. The S6300 will go on sale in February for £180.
