Panasonic 20-inch 4K tablet – what is it?

The Panasonic 20-inch 4K tablet is what is says on the tin, a large tablet with a very high resolution screen (3840 x 2560 pixels in this case). 4K screens have a resolution of four times full high definition so pictures are incredibly sharp. Panasonic says it’s a tablet for photographers and architects to demonstrate their work. Suffice it to say, it’s no iPad rival.

Which? expert first impressions

Catherine WestFirst impressions are wow, that’s pretty large and heavy for a tablet. However, on taking a look at the specs packed in, it starts to make a bit more sense – there’s a lot packed in there but don’t let the tablet label trick you into thinking it’s particularly portable.

My other main question is – does a 20-inch tablet need to have 4K resolution? 4K is such a high resolution that you really need to see it on a large screen to get the benefit – like on a 84-inch TV – so here is it a bit wasted? Well, it might be overkill but the screen quality still looks amazing.
