Help us improve Which Mobile

Which? Mobile has been live for six months now and we hope you’ve enjoyed our mobile phone advice, blog and switching service so far. But we know that there is plenty we can improve on.

So along with all the feedback we’ve already had from your comments, we’d really appreciate it if you took five minutes to vote in our poll below and complete our customer survey. This will will give us a better idea of what we’re doing right, what we’re doing wrong and what features you’d like to see added to the site –  so we can make it work better for you.

I wish to compare the phone, not the contarct. When I select the phone tab, no results are displayed.

Hi David,

Sorry you encountered this problem- we’ve been having some technical issues with Carphone Warehouse who are the retailer selling the majority of phone-only deals on the site which means that occasionally there are no deals displaying for that section. Not ideal I know but we’ve been assured they are working on it and if you head over there today you should see phones available

Had a quick look at the site re mobile providers and see you have not included GiffGaff..(virtual O2 provider)..are there any reasons for this?

I want to compare tariffs, not phones. I can find no way of doing so. Am I missing something; doing something very unusual (though it seems entirely logical to me); or what?

Hello Midnight_Voice,

Because how much you pay for a deal up-front varies depending on the phone attached to the tariff, our contract results page shows all phones available on each tariff. Using the cheaper deals summary box at the top of the results page can help you to see the best deals available at each monthly cost. Alternatively, if you’re much more interested in getting a good plan rather than the handset, a SIM only deal (http://www.which.co.uk/mobile/deals/sim-cards/) might suit your needs.

I appreciate that there isn’t a direct contract tariff comparison page but we are looking to improve the site in helpful ways so this could be something we add. Does anyone else feel this would be useful? It’d be great to hear some suggestions.

I’m perplexed to discover that my 24-month contract is in fact for 25 months as I have to give 30 days’ notice of my wish to cancel but can only do this after the contract has expired. I was informed I should consider myself lucky as it used to be 90 days’ notice after the contract expired. How can I cancel a contract that has already expired, in effect no longer valid? Can someone explain this doublethink as the person I was speaking with couldn’t see the logical problem?
