UK operator Vodafone is rumoured to be launching a new mobile phone operator targeted at UK ethnic minorities.
According to Mobile Today, the operator will be called ‘Desi Mobi’ and will offer contract mobile phone deals aimed at British Asians.
Desi Mobi will operate as a Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO), which means it won’t own a network, but will lease Vodafone’s, along with MVNO’s TalkTalk, Lebara and ASDA.
