BlackBerry Dakota leaked

An image and specs of the rumoured BlackBerry Dakota have been leaked, showing it to be a touchscreen and Qwerty keypad touting heavyweight.
The Dakota resembles the original Bold 9000 with a trackpad and – if the leaker is to be believed – will be the first BlackBerry to include NFC technology.
The Dakota will also be able to be used as a 3G hotspot, allowing you to connect other devices such as a laptop – or the upcoming BlackBerry Playbook – to your phone and use it’s 3G connection to the internet.
BlackBerry Dakota rumoured specs
- BlackBerry OS 6.1
- 5Mp camera with HD video recording
- 2.8-inch capacitive touchscreen
- 4GB of storage
- 768MB RAM
The Dakota looks rather snazzy and fans of BlackBerry’s Qwerty keypads will be pretty excited, although we are yet to be entirely convinced by really small touchscreens. Perhaps once we get it in our hands we’ll change our minds.
