World’s most expensive mobile phone revealed

A British designer has unveiled the most expensive mobile phone in the world. It’s an iPhone 4 (surprise, surprise) and is encrusted with more than 500 diamonds.

The phone’s ‘home’ button is fitted with a rare pink 7.4 carat diamond and an 8 carat single cut flawless diamond. The back is gold plated and the Apple logo alone is made of 53 diamonds. No one needs that many diamonds.

The price tag is (drumroll) a rather ridiculous £5 million.

Stuart Hughes was commissioned to design two versions of the phone by an unnamed Australian businessman.

“It is amazing that someone is prepared to spend £5 million on a phone,” Stuart told the Daily Mail. “It was a fantastic challenge and I am really pleased with the end result – the phones look superb.”

Ah, but did you fix the antenna problem Stuart? Didn’t think so.

How bloody pointless!! Bling bling ring ring!!! Who cares what the world’s super rich decide is the communication medium of choice. What tickles me is that at £5million you only get gold plated
