One third of Mobile phone users would spot that their phone is missing within 15 minutes according to a YouGov survey.

The research, carried out for SecurEnvoy, suggests that 61%  would notice within an hour, while younger people would notice faster than older generations.

In the age group 18-24, 28% claimed they would notice within five minutes, compared with only 13% of 55 and overs.

SecurEnvoy claims that the research shows how important mobile phones have become to our everyday life with smartphones taking on new responsibilities like navigation and accessing the internet.

We think it might just show how paranoid we are that we didn’t feel the thing vibrate…
