Samsung announce Genio Touch II

Samsung has officially announced the follow up to the budget touchscreen phone the Genio Touch.
The Genio Touch II – or Corby II as it being called in other countries – is a cheap touchscreen phone, but it’s not a smartphone and doesn’t have 3G connectivity so it will be rather slow when using the internet.
It does have wi-fi however, so you will be able to connect to any nearby hotspots and the touchscreen is a capacitive type so it should be responsive.
Samsung Genio Touch II key specs
- 3.2 capacitive touchscreen
- 2Mp camera
- Mp3 player and FM radio
- Wi-fi connectivity
Like its older sibling the Genio Touch – which got a fairly reasonable score in our tests – the Touch II will be available in a range of colours including ‘carnival yellow’, ‘candy pink’ and ‘fashion white’.
It is expected to hit the shops sometime in April, although there’s no word on price or network availability yet.
