Acer announces the Allegro Windows Phone smartphone

Acer has announced the launch of its first Windows Phone smartphone the Allegro.

Running the latest Mango version of the operating system the Allegro also features a 3.6-inch screen and 1GHz processor.

• 3.6-inch capacitive touchscreen
• 1GHz processor
• 5Mp camera with LED flash
• 8GB of storage memory
• 1,300mAh battery

The phone is aimed at the mid-range area of the market and is expected to cost around €299.

So far it has only been confirmed to launch in France, although we may see it cross the channel in the future.
