Am I the only one that refuses to climb on board the Apply-wagon-of-Hype. My Samsung Tocco Ultra does the job as phone and txt device for 300mins calls and unlimited texts for £8 a month fro Vodafone. Yes EIGHT POUNDS a month. I can wait for a few hours to get to a computer to gon online. The £30 to £40 I save, by not having an iphone, every month buys me omnomnomnom treats from Waitrose or Markies. Now who is daft lol

Not sure if it’s about being daft. You chooses treats; others choose an I Phone.

What has your phone tariff got to do with your choice of phone? My kids have iPhones and get a £5 giffgaff goody bag which gets them unlimited free calls and texts or a £10 giffgaff goody bag with unlimited data, unlimited texts and 250 minutes of calls. And they have a phone that is nice to use and actually does something. And they still have money for treats (actually they love baking so we all get to share their treats). ;-)

Ironic really. I have an iPhone 4S and for £8.00 a month (SIM only contract) I get 300 minutes of mobile calls, 500 texts, 1Gb of mobile broadband (including the ability to connect my laptop to the internet via my iPhone), plus I get unlimited calls to UK land lines.

Every two years I sell my old phone on eBay and pay for a new handset. But it’s my choice what I spend my money on.

Personally I’m amazed. As an iPhone owner, I can’t see why everyone else is so smug about “not having” an iPhone.
