LG Optimus 3D available on pre-order

The world’s first 3D smartphone, the LG Optimus 3D is available on pre-order.

Capable of both playing 3D content without the need for special glasses and recording 3D content using its dual-lens camera – the Optimus 3D is the first phone of its kind.

To power all this it has a processor that is not only dual-core, but also dual-channel and dual-memory. LG claim that this makes it the most powerful phone in the world – but we’ve heard that one before.

Running Android Froyo it has access to the Android Market, and although this isn’t the latest version of the software, we expect it to be updated to Gingerbread in the near future.
