Lord Alan Sugar reviews the BlackBerry Torch

Alan Sugar

The Dark Lord of the Sugar has spoken, and he approves of the BlackBerry Torch.

Business-guru-cum-reality-television-star Lord Alan Sugar, often described as “notoriously hard to please”, has given his stamp of approval to the BlackBerry Torch.

Writing on Facebook, Lord Sugar – star of BBC1’s The Apprentice – describes his long running history with BlackBerry since owning the first device released in the UK. He then goes on to tell the Torch that ‘it’s hired’.

The technology mogul not only gives the Torch a glowing review, but also gives away a few handy tips for saving on battery life by reducing the brightness of the screen and lapse time.

And one of his favourite things about the Torch? Not having a rollerball, as he describes in typically down to earth style, “I went through 5 Pearls as the bloody roller ball kept conking out as I am a heavy duty user”.
