Nokia Lumia 710 coming to the UK

Nokia’s second Windows Phone smartphone the Lumia 710 could be coming to the UK in January.

The 710 was announced at the same time as the Nokia Lumia 800, at Nokia World in October but the cheaper of the two Windows Phone smartphones was only initially launched in a limited number of countries including Russia.

Its potential release in the UK is great news as with an estimated price of €270 (£230) it’s very affordable for a Windows Phone smartphone.

The Lumia 710 has a 3.7-inch touchscreen and 1.4GHz processor, and while it doesn’t have the 8Mp camera or 16GB of internal memory found on the Lumia 800 it looks like a great device for its price.

Network availability and deals have still to be confirmed but the rumours suggest a 6 January launch.
