Nokia Lumia 800 will be £400 on PAYG

The Nokia Lumia 800 will be available for £400 on pay-as-you-go with Three when it goes on sale on 16 November.

Nokia’s first Windows Phone smartphone will £100 less than a Sim-free iPhone 4S when it hits the shops and will be available free on most contracts.

Nokia is hoping to get back into the smartphone market with the ‘first real Windows phone’ and has included exclusive services Nokia Music and Nokia Drive.

Other retailers have tentatively suggested prices around £450, but it’s not unusual for Three to undercut them – although hopefully this will force them all to follow suit and reduce their prices.
