Nokia CEO Stephen Elop has promised support for Symbian devices will continue until at least 2016, easing those worried that their smartphone software will quickly become out-of-date.
Speaking to Nokia’s Conversations blog, Elop promised that Nokia will provide updates, customer service and apps for Symbian devices.
This should ease the concerns of anyone considering a Symbian phone such as the Nokia N8, but worried that support might dry up.
