Selfridges launches limited edition BlackBerry Bold

London superstore Selfridges has just announced a range of limited edition designer BlackBerry Bold 9780 handsets.

The phones have been redesigned by Bill Amberg (we presume he is well-known to the fashion-conscious among you) who also designed these rather fetching iPhone cases.

However, with the BlackBerry Bold all Mr Amberg seems to have done is stick some coloured leather on the back and then numbered each handset, which to us seems hardly worth the hefty £1,000 price tag.

Only 60 have been made and you’ll also get a designer case thrown in too (which we actually rather like).

According to Selfridges, the limited edition Bill Amberg BlackBerry Bold 9780 has almost already sold out, so if you want one you better move fast.
